REED Engineering and Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering and Manufacturing company Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - DAYS ONLY Key Job Responsibilities Breakdown and Repair: Rapidly diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, component replacement (filters, gears, valves), and calibration.Equipment Coverage: Maintain heavy plant equipment including overhead cranes, mobile plant, and conveyor systems.Documentation: Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and technical data in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict health and safety, COSHH, and permit-to-work procedures.Operational Support: Work with production teams to optimize plant efficiency and participate in shutdown planning.
