CNC Turner Setter/Programmer Fanuc West Byfleet £38,000 £40,000 per year About the role We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mori Seiki CNC lathes with milling capability, live tooling, Y-axis capability and sub-spindles. The role involves producing precision components to tight tolerances using specialist and high-performance materials. This position requires a strong focus on quality, accuracy and efficiency within a high-specification engineering environment. This role reports to the Machine Shop Manager. Location The role will initially be based at our machine shop in West Byfleet for four to six months, before moving to our facility in Send, Woking. This is a workshop-based precision machining environment, and PPE must be worn at all times. Overtime and shift work may be required, depending on workload. What you will be doing Set, program and operate Mori Seiki CNC lathes with milling capability and sub-spindles Manufacture precision components to tolerances of approximately 0.02 mm Machine components for the oil and gas sector using materials including Nitronic, steel, Monel, Inconel and other specialist grades Write CNC programs from scratch and edit existing programs using Fanuc controls Complete programming both online at the machine and offline Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications, selecting appropriate cutting tools, ..... full job details .....
