An established multi-office law firm is looking to recruit a Care Paralegal to join its busy Bedford office. This role would suit a motivated and compassionate individual with experience or a strong interest in public family law and care proceedings.Working closely with experienced solicitors, the successful candidate will assist on a varied caseload involving Children Act matters and provide both legal and administrative support within a supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting solicitors with care proceedings and public family law mattersPreparing legal documents, witness statements, and correspondenceAttending client meetings and taking instructionsLiaising with courts, counsel, local authorities, and external agenciesManaging file administration and ensuring compliance requirements are metAssisting with legal aid applications and billing processesProviding high levels of client care and support throughout proceedingsSupporting the wider team with administrative and legal tasks where requiredAbout YouPrevious paralegal experience within Care, Family, or Public Law desirableKnowledge of legal aid funding processes advantageousExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational abilityAbility to work proactively and manage competing prioritiesProfessional, reliable, and client-focused approachGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeWhat''s on OfferThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded and ..... full job details .....
