Annual salary: up to £35,000.00 Roofer Location:Birmingham Contract: Full Time Permanent Salary up to £35,000 per annum, plus, company van and fuel card 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday- Friday) About the role: We are looking for a skilled Roofer to join our Birmingham contract, delivering repairs and maintenance services across occupied and void social housing properties. Working as part of our Property Services team, you will undertake a range of roofing repairs, planned maintenance works and emergency call-outs, ensuring homes remain safe, secure and weatherproof. This is a customer-facing role that requires a high standard of workmanship, a strong focus on health and safety, and excellent communication skills. Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance to occupied and void properties across Birmingham.Repair and replace roof tiles, battens, felt roofing, flat roofs, chimneys and leadwork.Install and repair guttering, downpipes, fascias, soffits and roof ventilation systems.Respond to emergency roofing issues, including storm damage and roof leaks.Identify roofing defects and recommend appropriate repair solutions.Support planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes.Accurately record work completed, materials used and time spent on jobs.Communicate effectively with tenants, colleagues and supervisors to minimise disruption.Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements, the Decent Homes Standard and company procedures.
