Enjoy the opportunity to shape future media technologies while benefiting from a dynamic, supportive culture that values innovation and professional growth.How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnDevelop novel video coding algorithms and solutions for next generation video codecs improving compression efficiency and enabling new user experiences.Participate in hands-on research work and contribute to standardizationInitiate and create research ideas as well as contribute to research work that leads to technology transfer, publications and Intellectual Property.

Key Skills And ExperienceYou have:At least a Masters degree, a PhD degree (preferred)Minimum 8 years of relevant experience on algorithm development in video codingStrong background and knowledge of image and/or video signal processing and compression, including latest video coding standards, such as HEVC and VVC.Strong mathematical and theoretical skills.

It would be nice if you also had:Experience of international standardization is considered a significant benefit.A track record of patent creation and publishing in scientific journals in the fields of video/image signal processing and compression.Strong verbal communication and presentation skills in English along with excellent technical and scientific writing skills in English.Knowledge on 360-degree video/image processing.
