Introduction: Our client is a growing manufacturing business investing in new machinery and a modern engineering facility. They re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their team and support the smooth running of production. This is a great opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. You''ll be working in a fast-paced, BRC-regulated environment where you ll play a key part in maintaining equipment, solving breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement. The Role: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a practical, on-the-tools role ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and being part of a tight-knit team. You ll be responsible for keeping machinery in top condition, logging maintenance activity, and making sure any issues are resolved quickly and safely. Day-to-day, you ll be: Carrying out breakdown repairs on a variety of equipment, ensuring machinery is running safely and efficiently Completing planned preventative maintenance in line with schedules Logging maintenance tasks accurately through the PPM system Supporting changeovers on production lines and working closely with the production team to minimise downtime Making small improvements to equipment and processes to boost efficiency Working with machinery such as label applicators, glue machines, and tube cutters What We re Looking For: Time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualification (City and Guilds, BTEC, HNC or ..... full job details .....
