Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Site Engineer on a 3 month contract in Surrey.

Role Summary

Previous highways experience preferable, ideally major roadworks projects including deep drainage, kerbs, fencing & earthworks
Strong ability in setting out using both GPS & Total Station equipment. Mixture of Leica & Trimble preferable.
Raise and complete quality check sheets
Experience completing quality documentation mainly check sheets and keeping track of work on site to ensure compliance with ITPs.
Maintain an accurate daily diary
Communicate with site foreman and gangers and provide instructions for the works to be completed
Communicate with section engineers and be able to follow the 3 week look ahead program
 

Requirements

Experienced/confident in set out using GPS or total station (not essential for DOWLS site engineer)

Good understanding of H&S
Full drivers licence

Experience raising Permit to Dig’s (EUSR lvl 1&2 ideal but we will put them on the course if they don’t have it)

Competent with CAD software and production of As-Builts.
