Peer Support Worker

Right now, we are looking for a Peer Support Worker to play a pivotal role in our Mental Health Service in Islington. Sounds great, what will I be doing? As a Peer Support Worker, you will manage a caseload of individuals requiring early intervention and preventative mental health support, using your knowledge and experience to empower them on their recovery journey. You will deliver group activities and programmes, promote peer support networks, and help service users actively participate in co-producing their support and achieving their goals. Working collaboratively with community mental health teams, social workers, housing providers, health professionals, and employment services, you will encourage engagement with wider support networks and opportunities. You will monitor wellbeing and safety, maintain accurate records, complete assessments and reviews, support colleagues, and contribute to the effective, inclusive, and recovery-focused delivery of the service.
