Building Safety Manager - Residential / Build-to-RentLocation: LondonSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceI''m currently recruiting for a Building Safety Manager on behalf of a leading residential operator, overseeing building safety, fire safety and regulatory compliance across a portfolio of high-rise residential buildings.This role would suit a building safety professional with strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Building Assessment Certificates and fire safety compliance, looking to take ownership of building safety across a residential portfolio.You''ll work closely with internal teams, external consultants, contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure buildings remain safe, compliant and well managed, with a particular focus on resident safety and the management of higher-risk buildings.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Building Safety Act compliance across a portfolio of higher-risk residential buildings.Manage Building Assessment Certificate applications and liaise with the Building Safety Regulator.Oversee building safety case reports, fire safety documentation and the maintenance of the golden thread of information.Manage fire safety risks relating to external wall systems, compartmentation and fire doors.Oversee statutory compliance, risk assessments, planned preventative maintenance and remedial works.Carry out site inspections and compliance audits, ensuring identified issues are addressed within agreed timescales.Work with consultants, contractors ..... full job details .....
