Teaching Assistant - SEMH Learning Support
Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire (NG31)
Pay: -90 - -103 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term-time only)
Contract: Long- term to permanent

We''re recruiting two dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming SEMH school in Grantham, part of a highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust committed to inclusion and support. This school works with young people aged 5-16 who need a calm, consistent, and understanding environment to thrive.

What You''ll Be Doing:
- Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting teachers with learning activities and emotional regulation strategies
- Building trust and rapport with students through positive relationship-building
- Using your experience to help manage behaviour and de-escalate situations calmly
- Providing structure and emotional support during the school day
- Supporting inclusion across classroom and outdoor learning sessions
Who We''re Looking For:
- Essential: Experience working with challenging behaviour, trauma, or mental health - from education, social work, residential care, youth offending, or similar roles
- A compassionate and resilient approach to supporting young people
- A strong communicator and committed team player
- Someone open to learning and adapting within a school environment
