We are seeking an experienced Pattern Maker / Tool Maker who is looking for a long-term, permanent opportunity with a well-established and growing business. Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and prepare pattern equipment for production.

• Ensure all pattern equipment is fit for purpose and ready for the next shift.

• Carry out inspections to identify wear, damage, and defects.

• Manufacture, modify, and repair tooling, patterns, and core boxes as required.

• Operate traditional workshop machinery to produce and maintain tooling.

• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and support manufacturing schedules.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

• Follow all company quality standards and health and safety procedures.

• Qualified or time-served Tool Maker.

• Previous experience working as a Pattern Maker, Tool Maker, or in a similar tooling role within a foundry or manufacturing environment.

• Experience operating traditional workshop machinery, including manual milling machines, centre lathes, pillar drills, surface grinders, and other conventional machine tools.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Reliable with a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
