The company have a Design Manager opportunity to join their successful and established region in Surrey

As a Design Manager, you will hold a central role within the Design Department, leading the coordination and management of the design process to secure planning approvals for residential developments.

What you''ll be doing:
- Working closely with land, technical, and external consultant teams to ensure schemes are creatively designed, commercially viable, policy-compliant, and aligned with the company''s quality standards.
- ?Shaping developments from concept through to consent, managing stakeholder engagement with local authorities and consultants to drive projects forward efficiently and effectively.
- ? Balancing design excellence with planning strategy and programme delivery to contribute to the company''s growth pipeline and reputation for delivering high-quality homes.

Skills & knowledge required for the role:
- Previous experience in the house building industry and held the role of Design Manager or a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (good working knowledge of MS Office and Autocad packages)
- Knowledge of current building regulations and NHBC requirements
- Understanding of the entire planning application process from start to completion
- People and team management skills
