Occupational Therapist - Adult Social CareLocations: Hybrid Working - Bury / Hybrid WorkingPay: 35 per hour (umbrella rate)Hours: 37 per week, Monday to FridayContract: 3 months initially (potential for extension)Our Local Authority client are recruiting a locum Occupational Therapist for their Adult Social Care Service in Bury.Key responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals receiving packages of care to ensure high-quality occupational therapy interventions.Support people to live safely and independently within their homes.Facilitate timely and safe hospital discharges through effective care planning.Apply expertise in single-handed care, moving and handling techniques, and the provision of equipment and home adaptations.Work collaboratively with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop tailored care solutions.Requirements:A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Minimum of 2 years experience of working with older people and people with mental health or physical disabilities.If you are interested in any of these roles, please contact Kaylah on or (phone number removed) and put through your application .
