The Role The Finance and Operations Assistant will play an important role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the organisation. Working alongside the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will provide administrative support across finance, governance, human resources, procurement, facilities and organisational operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Finance Process purchase invoices, supplier payments and expenses. Raise sales invoices and monitor outstanding payments. Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Support monthly management accounts preparation. Maintain finance spreadsheets, bookkeeping, cashflow and accounting systems. Assist with budget monitoring and expenditure reporting. Support the preparation of year-end accounts and external audits. Maintain financial filing systems and supporting documentation. Process corporate credit card reconciliations. Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices and payment queries. Support grant and project financial reporting where required. Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies. Support the Director of Development with essential administration tasks.
