Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Support pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupil engagement.
• Support children with additional needs, including SEN where necessary.
• Foster emotional and social development through positive encouragement.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable.
• A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
