Job Title: Contract Quality Engineer Location: Colchester Rate: £40 to 50 per hourEmployment Type: 3 6 Month Contract Working Arrangements: OnsiteIR35: Indicative Outside We re looking for an experienced Contract Quality Engineer to support a busy manufacturing site in Colchester during a key period of ISO 9001 audit preparation and QMS improvement. This is a hands-on contract for someone who can hit the ground running, identify gaps and put practical improvements in place. The Role- Drive ISO 9001 audit readiness and close identified gaps- Review and improve QMS documentation, procedures and work instructions- Support corrective actions, evidence gathering and audit preparation- Ensure quality records and processes are accurate, controlled and up to date- Work closely with production, engineering and management to improve quality standardsExperience required for the Contract Quality Engineer- Proven Quality Engineering experience within manufacturing- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS- Experience with audit preparation, documentation and corrective actions- A hands-on, practical approach with the ability to work independently- Confidence to quickly assess a situation and drive improvementsThe Contract- 3 to 6 month, high-impact assignment- Onsite in Colchester- Immediate opportunity to make a tangible difference- Autonomy to improve processes and strengthen the QMSIf you re an experienced contract/interim Quality Engineer who can quickly get under the skin of a ..... full job details .....
