Maintenance EngineerWe are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment based in Medway. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business working a day shift pattern across 4 days per week with no weekends.Key Duties:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Respond to machinery breakdowns and fault findingMaintain and repair production machinery, robotics, and automation equipmentSupport continuous improvement projectsWork closely with production teams to minimise downtimeEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with HandS proceduresExperience Required:Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturingStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skillsKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable:Engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications18th Edition qualificationPLC fault-finding experienceBenefits:4-day working week (DAY SHIFTS)No weekendsCompany pensionTraining and development opportunitiesEmployee discounts schemeFree parkingChristmas shutdownWe are also open to considering candidates who have recently completed an apprenticeship and hold basic engineering qualifications, with a strong willingness to learn and develop.
