This position is responsible for the manufacture, servicing, and repair of high-precision tools used in the production and development of aircraft components.The Tool Maker (Tool Technician) will also support prototype development, contribute to tooling improvements, and uphold the highest levels of safety, quality, and compliance. Duties and Responsibilities:Manufacture, service, and repair a wide range of tools, jigs, and fixtures to support both new product development and existing aerospace production.Operate manual machine tools to fine tolerances, including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and horizontal boring machines.Work from detailed technical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce high-precision components.Apply precision measurement techniques using a variety of instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.Carry out maintenance and modifications on existing production tooling and fixtures to ensure optimal performance.Support the assembly and testing of prototypes by manufacturing and adjusting tooling solutions.Provide practical input ..... full job details .....
