Job type: Part time Hours: 20 hours per week Shifts: Alternating 9.30 am to 1.30 pm or 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm Rota: 3 week rota working 5 shifts of 4 hours per week with a long weekend every third weekHourly rate: 12.70 weekdays 17.91 Saturdays and Nights 23.24 Sundays and Bank HolidaysThis is a dual role combining both catering and cleaning duties. You will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming setting for patients and staff, as well as preparing simple, home cooked style meals.Duties includePreparing and cooking meals for patientsMaintaining high standards of cleanliness across the unitCleaning patient areas, communal spaces and staff areasFollowing food hygiene and health and safety proceduresSupporting the team with general housekeeping tasks as requiredRequirementsA confident cook who is comfortable preparing meals from scratch (essential)A good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standardsSome experience of commercial cleaning would be advantageous but not essential as full training is providedA caring and respectful manner suitable for a secure mental health settingUnderstanding of confidentiality and GDPRValid Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate (Manpower can support with this)Standard DBS check (Manpower pay for the cost of the check)Satisfactory ..... full job details .....
