Service Engineer
Location: Holywell, Flintshire
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 (with flexible overtime)
Salary: £31,200 basic (up to £45,000–£60,000 with overtime)

THE JOB

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair advanced machinery at client sites across the UK (all travel time paid).
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during urgent breakdowns.
• Conduct equipment assessments and deliver clear, professional technical reports to clients.
• Recommend upgrades or modifications to boost client operational efficiency.

YOU

• Essential: Valid UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, with practical skills in fitting, welding, and minor fabrication.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends, irregular hours, or overnight stays (including occasional travel to Ireland).
• Ability to thrive independently or as part of a team.

SALARY BREAKDOWN - 

• Base Salary: £31,200, with overtime earnings of £45,000–£60,000.
• Overtime Rates: Time + 1/3 for out-of-hours work and travel; Saturdays at time + 1/3 (Sundays excluded).
• Standard Hours: 40 hours/week (08:00–16:30).
• Leave: 22 days annual leave + all bank holidays.
• Allowances: Accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) fully covered for overnight assignments.
