CNC Programmer Advanced CNC - 3, 4 and 5-Axis Machining Aerospace - Romford, Essex Permanent Position £38,000 - £52,000 + Benefits + Overtime We''re partnered with a well-established and well-invested aerospace precision engineering business based in Romford, supplying complex components into the aerospace sector. Due to continued growth, they''re looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their engineering team and take ownership of programming, process development and manufacturing optimisation. This is far more than a programme-writing role. You''ll have genuine engineering input into how complex aerospace components are manufactured, developing machining strategies, tooling, fixtures and processes to achieve first-time-right production. The Role You''ll be responsible for developing and optimising CNC programmes and manufacturing processes across 3, 4 and 5-axis machining, working closely with Production, Quality and Engineering to ensure components are manufactured efficiently, accurately and consistently. What You''ll Be Doing Creating, optimising and proving 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC programmes Developing manufacturing processes, routings and setup strategies Programming complex aerospace components to drawing and specification Developing tooling and machining strategies Designing and implementing work-holding and fixture solutions Selecting tooling and optimising cutting strategies Supporting the introduction of new components into manufacture Working closely with ..... full job details .....
