The Role

The RE Teacher will:

• Deliver intellectually challenging lessons across Key Stages 3-5, exploring diverse religious, philosophical, and ethical questions.
• Facilitate Socratic dialogue and nuanced debates, encouraging respectful articulation of diverse viewpoints.
• Guide students in critical analysis of religious texts, philosophical arguments, and contemporary moral dilemmas.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives, including philosophy clubs and interfaith dialogue.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified RE Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:

• Possesses a strong passion for religious studies, ethical philosophy, and their educational value.
• Is skilled at creating a safe and stimulating environment for sensitive discussions.
