Quantity Surveyor - High-End Residential Construction

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to work on exceptional, high-specification homes and unique construction projects?

We''re working with an established and highly regarded chartered building company specialising in the delivery of bespoke, high-end residential projects. With a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship, they''re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex, high-value projects where attention to detail, commercial awareness and quality are genuinely valued.

As Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the commercial and financial performance of projects

• Preparing and managing project budgets, forecasts and cost plans

• Producing and reviewing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts

• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts

• Preparing, managing and agreeing variations

• Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks

• Assisting with tendering and procurement activities

• Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers

• Producing regular commercial reports

• Working closely with the Project and Site Management teams

• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the required quality standards

We''re looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has experience within construction, ideally with a background in high-end residential, bespoke homes, luxury developments or high-specification building projects.

You''ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction

• Strong commercial and financial management skills

• Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain relationships

• Good knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and valuations

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines

• A commercially minded and proactive approach

• Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related qualifications are desirable
