This leadership role involves establishing and directing our reliability engineering practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement systems that meet high reliability standards.You will be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance system resilience, increase observability, automate processes, and proactively address potential issues to minimize operational disruptions.This is an exciting opportunity to shape the reliability engineering function and contribute to HSBC''s commitment to be always available to our customers.Qualification and Skills:Proven experience in reliability engineering or a similar role.Strong understanding of system architecture, design principles, and cloud platforms.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., python) for automation purposes.Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., prometheus, grafana) and incident management systems.Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and tools as required.This role is based in LondonBeing open to different points of view is important for our business and the communities we serve.
