Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Test Kitting Engineerto join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract up until 31st March 2026.Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.Duties: The Test Kitting Engineer will be responsible for owning and managing the Bill of Materials (BoM) for Units Under Test (UUT) across Batteries, EDU, and Engine Test environments.This includes ensuring that all kits are complete, accurate, and delivered on time to support scheduled test activities.The role involves co-ordinating the procurement and logistics of components, including ordering, tracking, and expediting parts through internal systems and external suppliers to meet critical deadlines.The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand specific test requirements and translate them into actionable kitting plans, ensuring all necessary components, tools, and documentation are prepared and available.In addition to following established kitting processes, the role requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements that enhances efficiency and reliability.Regular performance updates, including weekly reports on kit readiness and delivery status, will be provided to the Central Planning Team.The engineer will also be expected to undertake any other work as directed by their Line Manager in connection with their role.
