I''m currently recruiting for a Project Design Manager on behalf of a client in the UK water sector.

The role focuses on leading and coordinating a multi-disciplinary design team delivering either clean or wastewater capital projects.

You''ll need to be comfortable managing complex designs end-to-end, working within regulated environments, and prioritising safety, quality, value, and sustainability. Familiarity with CDM, BIM, and digital design tools is beneficial.

What we''re looking for:

• Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience delivering capital projects within the UK water sector
• Strong background in clean water treatment and non-infrastructure assets
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Confident managing suppliers and third-party designers

Desirable:

• Chartered Engineer (or working towards)
• Experience in a Design & Build environment

Offer:

• Contract - 12 months rolling
• Rate - -550 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location - Peterborough
• Working arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days per fortnight
• Mile and lodge costs are reimbursable
