Job Description:
- Planning and deliveringandnbsp;tailored learning programmesandnbsp;for pupils with a range ofandnbsp;SEND, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
- Creating aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;structured, andandnbsp;stimulatingandnbsp;classroom environment that supports bothandnbsp;academic progressandnbsp;andandnbsp;emotional wellbeing
- Working closely withandnbsp;teaching assistants, theandnbsp;SENCO, and external agencies to implementandnbsp;EHCPsandnbsp;and targeted interventions
- Usingandnbsp;differentiated teaching strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;multi-sensory approachesandnbsp;to meet individual learning needs
- Monitoring pupil progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing toandnbsp;review meetings
- Buildingandnbsp;positive relationshipsandnbsp;with pupils, families, and colleagues to support holistic development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience in working within a SEN setting (desirable but not essential)
- Isandnbsp;compassionate,andnbsp;patient, and committed toandnbsp;inclusive education
- Have a strong understanding ofandnbsp;SEND strategies,andnbsp;EHCP processes, andandnbsp;behaviour support techniques
- Demonstrates excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;teamworkingandnbsp;skills
- Is reflective,andnbsp;resilient, and committed toandnbsp;ongoing professional development
- Can adapt teaching to meet theandnbsp;individual needsandnbsp;of every learner
