Personal Assistant / Senior Secretary
An interesting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic team supporting a busy directorate and direct line manager director. The role involves providing comprehensive business and administrative support to the team, assisting with confidential clerical duties and liaising with various departments and stakeholders. Office attendance is required for at least two days per week and each Wednesday due to on-site meetings. This is a temporary role (6 months initially), but may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and secretarial support including organising meetings, taking minutes via CoPilot (Proof reading automated minutes), circulating papers, and managing venues. Assist with managing information systems and business processes, ensuring compliance with policies. Support project activities by identifying resources and maintaining materials. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience in business administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines. Good numeracy and communication skills in English; Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential. Ability to concentrate amid interruptions and work with flexibility.
