Health and Safety Manager Location: UK (National Travel Required) Job Type: Permanent Poolhall Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to support construction projects across the UK. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, maintaining site standards, and providing practical HandS support to project teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular site health and safety inspections and audits. Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, LOLER, PUWER, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and ISO 45001 Requirements. Deliver toolbox talks and review subcontractor RAMS. Monitor and maintain health and safety documentation. Provide practical health and safety guidance to site teams and subcontractors. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions where required. Support the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental initiatives. Produce reports and communicate findings to project stakeholders. Requirements Minimum 3 years'' construction experience, ideally in a health and safety role. Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, LOLER, PUWER, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and ISO 45001. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach. Ability to work independently and across multiple sites. Full UK driving licence Benefits Competitive salary package.
