Job title: Warehouse Operative
Job type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Biggleswade
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm
Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour
 
Our rapidly growing client based in Biggleswade are currently looking for a number of Forklift qualified Warehouse Operative''s to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a an extremely fast paced and physical role, where strong knowledge within the Warehouse & Logistics industry is required, along with a valid Counterbalance FLT license. 
 
Main duties as a Warehouse Operative:
- Loading and unloading deliveries by hand and via a Forklift Truck
- Checking all paperwork against deliveries and stocky
- Reporting stock damages and shortages
- Labelling pallets and preparing stock for put-away
- Manual handling and other general warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
 
What is needed for this role?:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift license
- Previous experience and knowledge within the Warehouse & Logistics industry
- MUST be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy loads
- Due to the company location, candidates must be able to drive or live within walking distance
- Showcase strong team playing skills and ability to adapt
