A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting an Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary - permanent basis. This is a part-time position working 22 hours per week across 3 days (Fridays essential) starting ASAP. Paying -19.75 - -23.38 per hour (-38,000 - -45,000 pro rata) depending on experience.

Working in a team of 2 with 1 direct report, your key duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and monitoring.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Present findings to the board and suggest cost-saving measures.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and manage stakeholders.
• Handle payroll, VAT, HMRC returns and cashflow forecasts.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and audit processes.
• Ensure legal compliance and build external relationships.
• Drive improvements in accounting practices.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Finance Manager position:

• AAT level 4 qualified
• Previous experience in a similar role essential
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in using Sage, Excel, Word, Access and Paperless
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Analytical thinking and data-driven
