Role Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality personal care and support to service users.
• Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility needs.
• Supporting individuals with eating, drinking, and medication prompts.
• Promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
• Assisting residents with social activities and emotional support.
• Following safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

• Minimum 6 months of UK care experience (preferred).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Mandatory training certificates (Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Safeguarding, Infection Control, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but not essential.
