Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Assistant Management Accountant (Hybrid Working) include:
- Support month-end processes, including posting prepayments, accruals, and contract cost adjustments.
- Process monthly cost recharges across contracts and overheads.
- Summarise and analyse monthly and year-to-date spend against budget.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare monthly cost packs and support ad hoc financial reporting.
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Assistant Management Accountant (Hybrid Working) will have:
- Previous experience in a similar finance role, ideally with exposure to management accounts or group finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial data.
- Actively studying towards (or planning to start) a professional accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
Job Offer
