Job Title: Avionic Systems Engineer - Clearance (Qualification + Certification) Location: Warton We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: £47,683+ depending on skills and experience What you''ll be doing: Generation of clearance documentation (i.e. SQS/NCQC/ADOM) Assessing whether the certification evidence available supports the clearance, or determining the impact of any shortfalls. Presentation of certification to SDR for formal sign off Identifying and tracking clearance dependencies, and working with AJT and AVS Sub System teams to plan and gather inputs Working with external assessor stakeholders (i.e. Qual and Cert / Airworthiness) to secure independent assessment and approval of AJT clearances Tracking and managing clearance baselines across complex product sets Assessing the traceability of clearance evidence Supporting clearance programme reviews as required Your skills and experiences: Essential Knowledge of the Typhoon platform Knowledge of qualification and certification processes Must be capable of working within agreed standards and procedures and understand the importance of configuration control Desirable Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience / qualifications Experience of JIRA Agile project management tool Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers ..... full job details .....
