We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Systems Project Engineer to join a leading MandE Engineering company supporting the HS2 project in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, coordination, and management of fire detection and life safety systems across a major infrastructure project. This role will involve working closely with design teams, subcontractors, site management, and clients to ensure all fire systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with project specifications and programme requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the UK''s largest infrastructure projects within a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the installation and delivery of fire detection and alarm systems on the HS2 projectCoordinate fire systems works with MandE, construction, and commissioning teamsReview technical drawings, specifications, and project documentationEnsure works are delivered in accordance with relevant British Standards, client specifications, and project requirementsLiaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teamsSupport procurement of materials and equipmentMonitor project progress, quality, and programme deadlinesAttend site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress reviewsAssist with commissioning, testing, and handover documentationEnsure all health and safety procedures are followed on siteProduce RAMS, progress reports, and technical ..... full job details .....
