This role offers the opportunity to lead on statutory reporting and external audit for Mars UK and Ireland entities. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements for UK legal entities reporting under UK GAAP, consolidating multicurrency accounts for UK and overseas subsidiaries. Work closely with the UK Financial Reporting Manager to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant statutory reporting. Coordinate financial data across corporate reporting, PwC, Mars service centres, Financial Controllers, and business units to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage the external audit process, ensuring directors fiduciary duties and statutory requirements are fully met. Provide technical accounting guidance, training, and expertise in financial accounting and internal controls to operating units. Safeguard the corporation s reputation through high-quality external financial reporting. Candidate Profile Education and Professional Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with at least 4 years relevant experience in accounting practice or a commercial environment.
