We are recruiting for a Junior / Trainee H&S Advisor in London, the company is based in Borehamwood, the H&S Advisor will be based on a project in Battersea

Responsibilities

* Carry out regular health and safety inspections and audits on live sites
* Support site teams with HSEQ compliance and procedures
* Monitor activities to identify hazards and report findings
* Review RAMS with the team
* Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations
* Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks/briefings
* Monitor subcontractor compliance and safe systems of work
* Produce inspection reports and maintain safety documentation
* Promote a positive health and safety culture across projects
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations and company policies

Key requirements

* Previous experience in construction health & safety or a site-based role (Minimum 6 - 12 months)
* Previous RC Frame experience is highly desirable (open to background, as entry level would consider other sectors
* Any study towards environmental or sustainability would be an advantage
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with site teams
* Eagerness to learn and develop in a safety career
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Full UK Driving Licence
