Key Stage 2 SEND Teaching Assistant Intervention Support Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 Position Type: Full-time, Term-time Only Salary: Dependent on experience Start Date: September 2025Are you a compassionate, motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEND)? A warm and welcoming Catholic primary school in the heart of Selly Oak (B29) is currently seeking multiple dedicated Key Stage 2 SEND Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.This school places Christ at the centre of everything it does, fostering a community built on love, respect, and inclusivity. Pupils are encouraged to flourish both academically and spiritually, in a nurturing environment where everyone is valued and supported to reach their God-given potential.The successful candidates will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver targeted intervention support to pupils in Key Stage 2, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. You will help remove barriers to learning, promote pupil confidence, and support children in making sustained progress in a caring, structured setting.We are looking for individuals who: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly in Key Stage 2 Demonstrate a positive, flexible and patient approach Can build strong relationships with children, staff and families Have a good understanding of safeguarding and ..... full job details .....
