Role Overview - Early Years Practitioner

The successful Early Years Practitioner will support children within the EYFS framework, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment. The Early Years Practitioner will work closely with staff to deliver activities that support early development and learning.

The Early Years Practitioner will play a key role in promoting social, emotional and cognitive development through structured play and learning activities.

Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner

• Supporting children as an Early Years Practitioner in daily activities and routines
• Assisting with the delivery of EYFS-based learning
• Encouraging play-based learning and development
• Supporting children''s social and emotional wellbeing
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment as an Early Years Practitioner

Requirements for the Early Years Practitioner

• Previous experience as an Early Years Practitioner or in a nursery setting
• Understanding of the EYFS framework
• A caring, patient and energetic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
