Tax Manager – 4 months Temp - £31.00 per hour - Remote

Insurance group is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to support their Finance team on an interim basis.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP (dependant on checks) for an initial 4-month period and will pay £31.00 per hour PAYE.

This role is remote. Working hours – 40 per week, Monday to Friday.

The Tax Manager will provide UK tax compliance and reporting support to the business on allocated UK entities. Duties will include:

- Supporting Group Tax Team in the delivery of tax accounting and tax reporting
- Preparing corporate and deferred tax calculations for allocated UK entities company statutory accounts including drafting required note disclosures 
- Preparing corporate tax computations using Alphatax including collating and relevant documentation to meet compliance requirements
- Filing of UK corporation tax returns and related returns / forms to tax authorities
- Assisting with integration of recently acquired UK companies

The ideal Tax Manager will have the following knowledge skills and experience:

- UK Tax and / or Accountancy qualifications (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience and proficiency with tax compliance and reporting systems, preferably Alphatax
- UK statutory tax accounting experience, including completion of tax provisions for statutory accounts using tax software, drafting tax notes and agreement of tax accounting disclosures with auditors
- UK tax compliance experience, especially preparation of UK tax computations using tax software using a consistent approach
- Team player with a good work ethic
