We are seeking an

Interim Senior Project Manager

to support the mobilisation of new healthcare contracts and strengthen governance frameworks during a period of rapid growth. This short-term engagement is ideally suited to an experienced consultant with a strong background in healthcare projects and governance compliance.

Scope of WorkPlanning and Mobilisation

Define and agree project scope, objectives, and deliverables with the Senior Management Team.

Develop detailed mobilisation plans, schedules, and resource requirements.

Identify and establish governance processes to underpin successful delivery.

Implementation

Lead contract mobilisation activities, ensuring alignment with NHS and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate workstreams across internal functions and external partners.

Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues to maintain delivery.

Governance and Assurance

Ensure all projects are delivered in line with governance standards and organisational policies.

Provide regular updates and assurance reports to the Senior Management Team and stakeholders.

Oversee budget tracking, expenditure approvals, and variance reporting.

Evaluation and Handover

Assess delivery against objectives, ensuring projects are completed on time, to budget, and to quality standards.

Produce final evaluation, lessons learned, and recommendations for future projects.

Consultant Profile

Extensive experience delivering healthcare and governance-focused projects.

Strong knowledge of NHS structures, commissioning processes, and regulatory frameworks.

Proven success in contract mobilisation and governance compliance.

Skilled in stakeholder engagement at senior level.

PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification.

Confident working independently in a fixed-term, outcomes-driven assignment.
