Are you an accomplished Financial Controller who has an appetite to help drive change across a growing SME?A well-established and highly successful business based near Bishop’s Stortford are looking for a Financial Controller to help facilitate financial growth. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a hands-on, commercial role with real opportunity to shape and drive financial strategy as the company enters its next phase of growth.Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, budgets and forecastsMaintain and improve financial controls and reporting processesSupervise and mentor a small finance team across accounts payable, receivable, Management Accounts, and payrollSupport strategic decision-making by providing insightful financial analysisPrepare statutory accounts and liaise with auditors and other external stakeholdersDrive process improvements and contribute to wider business projectsQualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with proven post-qualification experienceStrong financial control, budgeting and forecasting expertiseExperience leading and developing a finance teamExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across all levelsWhat you will get
