We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing team delivering a major social housing refurbishment programme in West Yorkshire.

The Project
You’ll be responsible for the delivery of a significant housing refurbishment scheme in partnership with the local council. The works include:

• Internal and external refurbishment of two six-storey blocks of flats
• Fire door replacement, fire stopping works, and sprinkler system installation
• Bathroom and electrical upgrades
• Boiler replacements and solar PV installation
• Windows, doors, flat roof replacement, and external wall insulation

The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth project delivery, maintaining high standards of health & safety, and managing site operations day-to-day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and overseeing site teams and subcontractors
• Enforcing Health & Safety policies and maintaining records
• Managing inductions, site meetings, and daily operations
• Monitoring quality and compliance with specifications
• Supporting and developing staff through training and coaching
• Ensuring site presentation and client satisfaction are consistently maintained

What You’ll Need

• NVQ Level 4 / HNC in Construction (or equivalent experience)
• SMSTS, CSCS card, and Scaffold Inspection certification
• Asbestos Awareness (Duty to Manage desirable)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in the social housing sector is advantageous
