Area Sales Manager - North Region

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, commercially focused Area Sales Manager to join a successful and growing sales team. Covering the North Region, this field-based role offers the opportunity to drive business growth by developing new opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers across a technical distribution network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing their regional sales budget, and delivering exceptional customer support within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary: -47,00055,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Bonus: Up to 15% annual performance-related bonus (MBO)

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Manage and develop accounts within a technical distribution channel.
• Produce accurate short-term sales forecasts and support product mix objectives.
• Maintain accurate customer, prospect, quotation, and activity records using the company''s CRM system.
• Monitor competitor activity, products, and promotions, providing market intelligence to support business strategy.
• Represent the business professionally and deliver a high standard of customer service.

About You

You will have:

• Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

Desirable Experience

• Previous sales experience within the pump industry or another technical product sector.
• Experience selling into HVAC, building services, or a technical distribution environment.
