Senior Account Executive / Business Development Manager
Enterprise technology | First sales hire | Circa -70,000 base

GTC is supporting a growing enterprise technology business with its first dedicated sales appointment. This is an opportunity for a seller who enjoys creating business from the first conversation, working closely with founders and helping establish how a sales team operates.

The business helps organisations understand and modernise the critical systems they depend on. Its work combines technology, specialist expertise and managed services. An initial, paid discovery assessment can develop into a larger programme.

You will research and open target accounts, build your own pipeline and hold consultative conversations with CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects and other senior decision makers. You will qualify the business problem, involve technical colleagues and progress opportunities through to agreement. You will also help make the approach repeatable as the sales team grows.

You should be able to show that you have personally created and won new enterprise business. Experience selling application modernisation, enterprise integration, managed services or complex technology services would be valuable. Relationships in financial services, insurance, retail or logistics would also be useful.

You will need to be comfortable working before a full sales support structure is in place. A CRM and some automated outreach are available, but you must bring the research, activity, judgement and persistence to create opportunities independently.

The role title is a working title and will be shaped around the right person. Base salary is expected to be around -70,000, with the final package and working arrangements to be confirmed, likely 2/3 days on site.-
