Ideal for someone with a background in metal fabrication, stainless steel welding, or custom builds.Salary: 33,000 - 38,000 DOE Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Location: DaventryJob Duties:Fabricate and weld exhaust components such as manifolds, mufflers, and catalytic housings.Read and interpret engineering drawings and verbal instructions.Perform TIG and MIG welding, mainly on stainless steel and occasionally on other materials.Use a range of hand tools and fabrication equipment (presses, rollers, seam welders, etc.).Work on vehicle fitting and testing of prototype systems.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve functionality and fit.Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and build quality.Requirements:Solid experience in fabrication and TIG/MIG welding (ideally with stainless steel).Able to read and work from engineering drawings and sketches.Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship. ..... full job details .....
