Principal Structural Engineer is required for a leading infrastructure design and engineering firm specialising in rail electrification, civil works, and water sector solutions, delivering projects from concept through detailed design. They provide excellence in both design and build, working in operational networks and constrained environments.Role details

Location: Manchester - Hybrid (3 days on-site). Employment type: Contract (up to £480 per day outside IR35) or Permanent (up to £75K per annum).Responsibilities

Ensure the design team produces design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements.Provide key technical guidance for projects and tenders.Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards.Direct and develop engineers, CAD technicians and graduates.Skills / Qualifications

Chartered engineer.10 years\'' structural design experience at senior or principal level.Experience in regulated water and/or rail industries.Awareness of construction methods and materials.Additional notes
