Title : Experienced Groundworks Foreman Location - Kent Salary : Competitive Callaghan Groundworks and Civil Engineering Ltd is a growing and well-established groundwork and civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the South East. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join our team for an immediate start on a site in Higham, Kent. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of site operations, managing groundworks teams, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman. Strong knowledge of all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering, including drainage, foundations, concrete works, external works and infrastructure. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Experience organising labour, plant and materials. A good understanding of health and safety requirements on site. Be confident liaising with the office, site management and clients. Be computer literate and able to complete site paperwork, progress reports and communicate electronically. Relevant CSCS card (SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid are desirable).
