Credit Controller - Temporary

Our client, a growing company based in Laindon, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Credit Controller to join their finance team.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain a portfolio of accounts, ensuring outstanding debts are collected in a timely and efficient manner.Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy before sending to clients.Monitor accounts receivable and take appropriate action on overdue accounts, including making phone calls, sending letters, and negotiating payment terms.Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers to resolve queries and issues professionally.Prepare regular reports on account status, cash flow, and aged debtors for management.Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes.Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.Process and allocate payments and issue credit notes where necessary.Assist with the credit control strategy to minimise bad debts.Skills and Experience Required:Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role.Strong knowledge of credit control processes, debt recovery, and invoicing procedures.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple accounts ..... full job details .....
