Lecturer in Horticulture at Capel Manor College. The role involves providing high-quality teaching and learning to Garden Design students, delivering and assessing to appropriate examination body standards across Levels 1–3 in Horticulture and related subjects (Amenity Horticulture, Plant Science, Propagation, Soil Science, Machinery, Landscaping, Ecology, and Garden Design). Desirable qualifications include experience delivering RHS Level 2 Certificate in Practical and RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth and Development.Responsibilities

Provide high-quality teaching on the College’s Horticulture courses and ensure effective learning for students.Prepare and deliver stimulating lessons, set goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitor and assess progress, and provide feedback.Collaborate with practical instructors and technicians to deliver practical learner activities and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.Qualifications

Degree, HND or other relevant qualification in a related discipline.Experience as a Lecturer or from relevant industry, with the ability to inspire and develop understanding that promotes a love of learning and curiosity.
